IBCC NEWSLETTER promotional campaign rules
1. NAME AND ORGANIZER OF THE CAMPAIGN
1.1. The “IBCC NEWSLETTER – Win one of the anniversary IBCC clothing collections!” promotional campaign (hereinafter referred to as the Game) is organized by Tematik-Kábel Kft. (hereinafter referred to as the Organizer), with its registered office at 1012 Budapest, Márvány utca 17.; company registration number: 01-09-927890.
2. PERSONS PARTICIPATING IN AND EXCLUDED FROM THE GAME
2.1. All natural persons who hold European Union citizenship and have a European Union residence or domicile, and who have reached the age of 18 by the start of the Game, i.e. by March 5, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as Participants), may participate in the Game.
2.3. The following persons may not participate in the Game: the executive officers of the Organizer carrying out the Game, the employees of the Organizer, as well as the close relatives and relatives of these persons as defined in points 1 and 2 of Section 8:1(1) of the Hungarian Civil Code (Act V of 2013).
2.4. The personal data provided by the Participants must match the data indicated on their identity cards.
3. DURATION OF THE GAME
3.1. The Game runs from March 5, 2025, 09:00 a.m. until March 16, 2025, 23:59:59 p.m. Subscriptions received after the expiration of the Game period are invalid.
4. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE GAME
4.1. Anyone specified in Section 2 of these Rules may participate if they subscribe to the IBCC – International Balaton Carp Cup newsletter on the webpage https://2025.ibcc.hu/ under the newsletter subscription section.
4.3. The Organizer does not accept any other form of participation.
4.4. One person may only participate in the Game with one subscription.
5. PRIZES AND DRAW
5.1. Following the end of the Game, the Organizer will hold a draw among Participants who have a valid subscription. Three (3) sets of the 10th anniversary IBCC clothing collection (hereinafter referred to as the Prize) will be awarded. One Prize set contains: one T-shirt, one pair of shorts, and one hoodie, each bearing the official 10th IBCC logo.
During the draw, three alternate winners will also be selected.
Date of the draw: March 20, 2025, 2:00 p.m.
Location of the draw: 1012 Budapest, Márvány utca 17. (Organizer’s headquarters)
The draw will take place at the above location and time via a random number generator.
5.2. The Prize cannot be exchanged for other products or cash.
5.3. The Participant receiving the Prize may enforce any warranty, guarantee, or compensation claims regarding the Prize—within the framework of the law—against the manufacturer/distributor of the Prize and/or the service provider. Except for damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence, the Organizer explicitly disclaims any liability for damages incurred by the Participant during or in connection with receiving, using, or making use of the Prize.
6. NOTIFICATION AND ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS, RECEIPT OF THE PRIZE
6.1. The Organizer will notify the winner using the contact details provided by the Participant, by email or by phone, within five (5) working days after the draw. If the winner cannot be notified within ten (10) working days based on the data provided, or if the winner refuses the Prize, the alternate winners selected in the order of drawing will become eligible according to the mechanism described above; otherwise, the Prize is forfeited.
6.2. After the draw and data verification, the winner’s name will also be announced on The Fishing & Hunting Channel’s Facebook page.
6.3. The winner’s identity will be verified by the following documents: a valid ID card—identity card or passport.
6.4. After the draw and data verification, the Organizer will publish the list of winners on https://2025.ibcc.hu. Only the winner’s name will appear in the announcement.
7. COMPETITION RULES
7.1. All Participants can freely access these Participation Rules on the https://2025.ibcc.hu/ website.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
8.1. Force majeure covers events that cannot be controlled, remedied, or foreseen by the Organizer, as well as situations arising from causes beyond the Organizer’s control that render it impossible to fulfill the obligations undertaken in these Rules.
8.2. If a force majeure event occurs which partially or fully prevents and/or delays the fulfillment of these Rules or the entire Campaign, the Organizer is exempt from meeting its obligations for the duration of the prevention or delay.
8.3. If the Organizer invokes a force majeure event, it must inform the Game’s Participants of its occurrence within five (5) working days from the time the event arises.
8.4. Any force majeure event must be published on https://2025.ibcc.hu/.
9. TERMINATION OF THE GAME
9.1. This Game may be terminated in the event of force majeure, and/or if the Organizer cannot continue due to reasons beyond its control, and/or if changes in the legal framework would require an increased budget for the organization and conduct of this promotional Game, or make the Game impossible to conduct.
10. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
10.1. Participation in the Game implies the unconditional acceptance by each Participant that their personal data may be publicly disclosed, and that the Organizer may use such data for advertising purposes, without territorial and/or time limitations, or in any other way (e.g., via the internet, etc.).
10.2. By participating in the Game, the Participants unconditionally accept that their personal identification data may be stored in a database and subsequently used by the Organizer and its subcontractors for similar occasions, for direct or indirect marketing purposes, for meeting legal data reporting requirements, for awarding prizes, etc.
10.3. The Organizer may disclose information regarding the winner’s name or any other data related to the current Game.
10.4. Unless the Participants request otherwise in writing, they agree that the Organizer may collect their personal information in the manner indicated above.
10.5. Participants may withdraw at any time their consent for the use of their personal data, or for receiving any information or correspondence, by sending a written request to the Organizer’s address.

11. DISPUTES
11.1. In the event of any disputes regarding the validity of a subscription, the final decision is made by the committee appointed by the Organizer.
11.2. By participating in the Game, Participants agree to comply with and be bound by the provisions, deadlines, and conditions set forth in these Rules.
11.3. Any disputes arising between the Organizer and the Participants shall be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, the disputes shall be referred to the competent court in Budapest.
11.4. The Organizer has the right to modify the data and duration of the Game and to disclose such changes on the https://2025.ibcc.hu website and by posting them at its headquarters.
12. OTHER PROVISIONS
12.1. If there is any suspicion of system fraud or abuse, or if any legal action is taken against the Organizer or its partners, the Organizer has the right to take appropriate measures to resolve the issue.
12.2. The Organizer assumes no liability if a winner cannot be notified due to a change in the winner’s email address, or if the winner fails to read or receive the notification for reasons outside the Organizer’s control. The Organizer takes all necessary steps to conduct the Game properly but does not accept liability for any Participant dissatisfaction or complaints that do not constitute a violation of applicable law.
12.3. The Organizer will bear no liability if a designated and validated winner does not receive the Prize offered by the Organizer for reasons beyond the Organizer’s control, or due to the winner’s actions or inactions.
